Course Overview

This course will use the PDPA WSQ standard curriculum and assessment developed by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC):

  • Overview of the Personal Data Protection Act (2012)
  • Data Protection Provisions and Do Not Call Provisions
  • Role of Data Protection Officer
  • Create an Organisation’s Data Inventory Map and possible areas of non-compliance

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility for Funding (Company Sponsored)

  • Companies must be registered or incorporated in Singapore to qualify for SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) funding.
  • Employees must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents to be eligible for the subsidies under SkillsFuture Singapore.
  • Employees must meet the minimum attendance requirements and complete all assessments for the course to qualify for funding.
  • In the event the employee fails to meet attendance or assessment requirements, the company will be responsible for the full course fees.


2. Absentee Payroll Funding

  • Companies are eligible to apply for Absentee Payroll (AP) funding to compensate for employees’ time spent on training.
  • Absentee Payroll funding is computed based on the employee’s hourly basic salary, subject to a fixed rate cap as determined by SSG.
  • Absentee Payroll funding is only applicable for eligible Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents
  • Absentee Payroll funding is not applicable for courses that do not meet the required training hours or attendance requirements.

3. Eligibility for Funding (Individuals)

  • Individuals must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents to be eligible for SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) subsidies.
  • Individuals must be at least 21 years of age at the time of course enrollment.
  • Participants must meet the minimum attendance requirements and successfully complete all assessments to qualify for the subsidies.


4. Use of SkillsFuture Credit

  • Eligible individuals can use their SkillsFuture Credit to offset course fees.
  • SkillsFuture Credit claims must be submitted via the SkillsFuture Credit portal before the course starts.


5. Assessment

  • This course includes two assessments, conducted on the 2nd and 3rd day.
  • Learners must participate in and pass these assessments to fulfill course requirements.
